Architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars from Universe Architecture has a new home concept conceived according to the principle of Tetris games. Aiming to change the way family homes are structured, this model offers privacy and innovative technology. Townhouses no longer needs to follow the traditional model. The result is three single-family dwellings under one roof with 360 degree views of the surrounding area. “Tetris House” was created using interlocked sub-structures that can be adapted to the needs of the inhabitants. Besides being visually striking, the Tetris House will offer significant environmental benefits; the aim is to create a self-sufficient building that could be capable of not having access to the main gas, electricity and water networks.
